Pusha T Ft. Kendrick Lamar “Nosetalgia” (Audio)

I have to admire Pusha T for featuring Kendrick Lamar after K. Dot’s scathing challenge on Big Sean‘s “Control.” The two wordsmiths go back in time on this Nottz-produced banger and describe their past experiences with crack cocaine, the drug that has broken down the fabric of the Black community for 30+ years.

But while Push travels the oft-tread path of bragging about being the dopest dope dealer on the block, Kendrick offers personal experiences about living in a family consumed by the crack trade and epidemic. Lamar then offers an anecdote and brings up a memory of “Control” when he declared, “I don’t sell crack, MOTHERFUCKER I SELL IT.” And just like that, another one of Kendrick’s competitors continues to add to his narrative of dominance.
